Here is the picture of the Lexington Sunrise Rotary Club "Paul Harris Award" receiptants. Awards were given last Wednesday night (Nov 15, 2006) at the annual club "charter night." Our Charter Night is always held at the George C. Marshall Museum located on the Virginia Military Institute campus in Lexington, Virginia. I was totatally suprised. I was even sitting in the back row of the museum assembly hall looking for Judy to arrive from her flight from Orlando, Fl. She was delayed by a bad wreck in front of her on north bound Interstate 81 which spilled over on to north bound US 11. Her 45 minute drive trip from the Roanoke airport to Lexington took her two and a half hours by using I-81 north to US 220 north to I-64 east to US 11 south and then up Rose Hill Lane to our house. She never made it to Charter Night to witness the presentation.
