Princeton
Trio Winner In WPHS Vaudeville
The
Winter Park High School Auditorium was the scene of "Vaudville
'59" Friday night. The Junior class is the annual sponsor
of the program which is to raise money for the Junior-Senior
Prom. The judges, who had a very tough job, picked the following
acts as the best: the first place went to the "Princeton
Trio", including John Britton, Murray Osgood, and Skip
Palmer; second place was the "Beatnik Interlude",
an interpretation by Sheila Carter and Joanne Horvath; and third
place went to Wynne Webber doing a modern dance to the beautiful
"Enchanted Sea." Honorable mention went to: "Romeo
& Juliet" by Tibby Payton; the "Four Blues"
with Maryanne Banks, Donna Shaw, Perky McKim, and Mary McAllister,
and the "Black Bottom Girls", with Barbara McCartney,
Sandy Nelson, Linda Schmidt, Brenda O'Steen, Susan Chace, and
Suzie Gray. |
