This pic is from BEAST FROM BEYOND which was my very first effort
at filmmaking. The background is the alien spaceship interior I built
out on my Dad's carport. The BEAST mask was made out of cardboard,
paste and liquid latex. I started filming this in 1959 with a cast
that included Richard Winslow, George Mayo, Dale Potter, Sue Sturges,
Jean Welch, Bill Sharp and Ronnie Peacock. I shot it in B&W 8mm
film which had to be mailed out of state for processing. Somehow much
of this was ruined... I don't remember how. But I have none of the
original footage... and I throw out nothing. I did a remake in 1961
called INVASION OF THE VARGAN using the same BEAST mask & costume
as before. This was in color and featured WHPS pals Bill Gardner,
George Mayo, Dale Potter, Jim Caccavo, Dave Rees, Helen Grabber, Donna
