| Our
fishing trip to Cedar Key in memory of Bob Danforth got washed out by a
rain storm that made the seas too rough for fishing. However, Charlie Cayll,
Dave Rees and his wife Katherine and I enjoyed dinner together while talking
about our high school years. Charlie & I returned home the next day
while Dave & Katherine stayed to enjoy shopping in this quaint and rustic
fishing town. A note about Winter Park history: Did you know that General Rees Ave. across from the old Glenridge Jr. High School was named after Dave's father? His father was a 2 Star General at the Orlando Air Force base and was instrumental in getting the road built. Thanks Katherine, Dave & Charlie for coming... |
