1961 Wildcat Open Golf Tournament

     Frank Ferguson hosted a 9-hole 1961 Wildcat Open Golf Tournament Saturday afternoon at the Winter Park Golf Course. Several classmates participated in the event including Jack Billingham, Charlie Matthews, Terry Williams, John Cash, Allen Burris, Steve Wilberding, John Humbert, Dewey Ramsby, Charlie Cayll, Sandra Cash, Heather Marwick, Tom Bledsoe, Chip Schram, as well as the 'hole in one' player (and host) Frank Ferguson. The 'tournament' consisted of rules and regulations that included having fun, best 2 balls of team, 25% of handicap, 1 Mulligan per player, must turn in cards at the Pro Shop and players were reminded to be sure to show "gross" handicap or best estimate - maximum 36.
