WPHS's "Picnic in the Park" was held to honor teachers, staff, students & community friends of WPHS. The event was held Saturday, April 17, 2004 in Central Park. Those in attendance representing the Class of 1961 were Charlie Cayll, Terry Williams, Cheney Mason, Bill Schwartz, Max Morris, Steve Grantham, Ray Myers, Bob Finfrock, Ed Newton, Fred Hale, Lynn Nidy, Ed Adamkiewicz along with Marcia Gruber, Anne Laing, Ann Joslyn, Linda Schmidt, Fran Ussery, and Nancy Kimber (who drove down from Tallahassee and arrived around 2:00pm).

     Thank you for putting the pictures on the website. I really enjoyed looking at them. Wished I could have been there with you. One of these years I hope to move back to Florida. I still have sand in my shoes and miss Winter Park. My Aunt Lona who is 86 still lives there and my brother, Gary Halloway lives in Rockledge. I am planning to visit them in November and hope some of us classmates will be able to get together for lunch while I am there. I would love to do that.
