Subject: Good Friends Spending Time in the Smoky Mountains

Just got back from a nice vacation in Tennessee, I rented a cabin near Pigeon Forge. Allen Burris and his wife Linda flew in from Utah and spent the week with myself and wife Connie. The weather was nice, the leaves haven't started to change colors yet. Connie and I stopped at Callaway Gardens near Columbis Ga. on the way up, spent 2 days there touring the gardens and I got to play some golf and we visited some friends we hadn't seen in almost 30 years. Allen and I went horse back riding one day, and we spent a lot of time sightseeing; lots of craft shops and other interesting places. Attached are some pictures, one of me and Allen on horses, and Allen and wife Linda outside a craft shop. Allen is playing with a bubble maker.

Anyway we had a great time, but it's back home and time to paint the house. Charlie.
