"Stylish #ROOSTER Ronay picked up his new BFF this morning, his chemo pack. It has a tube that curls up his chest and into his port to deliver wee spurts of chemo 24/7. He goes in for refills on the chemo juice every Monday.

The black pack you see on his hip is mostly waterproof. When he sleeps, he extends the tubing stuffed inside the pouch so that he can put the pouch at the foot of the bed, covered with blankets, to deaden the little noise each spurt makes.

The long strap connected to the pack that he's got slung over his shoulder can be shortened to belt-like for optional fashion choices.

He will wear this pack for at least 5.5 weeks. Starting Wednesday, he'll have a radiation treatment 28 days, Mon-Fri. The premise is that these wee doses of chemo will help the radiation shrink the tumor and make its edges clearer. That will help the surgeon when it is his turn to go into action.
