Subject: Our Trip To Atlanta

Katherine and I went to Scott’s Antique Market in Atlanta last Friday and Saturday. Mainly to see Joanne Horvath (LaPoma) and her husband Mario. It was great seeing them again – Mario is “PURE ITALIAN” for sure – and Joanne is “pure fun”!!! We had dinner with them Friday night in their 40’ traveling home – and kept them up way too late talking. The “home” is really something to behold.

Of course Katherine found a “couple” of things she liked while we were there. The highlight of shopping was when Katherine found a ring (she told me she had not seen a ring she liked so much since her grandmother gave her one as a child) – she didn’t get it – however, Joanne and I conspired - and I got it without Katherine knowing - thanks to Joanne. As we were headed home and crossing the river that divides Georgia and Alabama I surprised her with it. I love her comment – “Oh, you shouldn’t have – BUT, I’m glad you did!!!”. That is the first piece of jewelry I have ever bought her (she’s very picky) – but, I had some “inside information” from Joanne!!!
