Subject: Never a dull day at the Serpentarium or Publix

Today I received a call from the manager at Publix who said that there was a snake inside their Job Applicant Machine in the lobby. Look closely at the first picture and you can see the harmless 18" Red Rat Snake aka Corn Snake inside the machine. We had to sneak the sneaky snake out of the machine and into a bag quickly to keep from having a stampede in the lobby. I have found Red Rat Snakes inside kitchen cupboards and once in a clothes pin bag hanging in the middle of a clothes line. They love to climb and they are experts on sneaking into houses.
