Subject: Cruising the Caribbean

This picture was taken last January. I went on a cruise with my cousin & her husband (from Chatham IL) to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. Her mother & my grandmother were sisters. I was their flower girl when they got married. The ship was Carnival Ecstasy. We went to the Bahamas to ports that were easy for my cousins to have minimal walking & be able to enjoy. Their daughter & son-in-law (from Winter Springs, FL) were also with us. We literally spent each evening in the piano bar so the last night the piano guy had written a song for them & sang it for them. How special & fun it was. This was just before the "Cruise from Hell" when a Carnival ship got stranded, no working toilets, etc. We almost booked that cruise but the dates didn't really work right. God must have been looking out for us.

FYI my son has just moved from St. Louis, MO to Atlanta. My daughter & her husband are in Mansfield, TX (Dallas, FT Worth area). I am in the middle in Missouri. Back & forth from a farm in New Haven, MO (wine country) & a condo @ Lake of the Ozarks (Camdenton MO). Needless to say I will be doing some traveling & so will they just so we can get together. That's what planes, trains & automobiles are for!!!!
