Anita Mae Smart Coffman

Anita M. Coffman "Nini," 57, passed away July 4, 2001.

She was born in Akron and lived most of her life in the area. She was active in Patterson Park Youth Sports, and worked at Stonehedge Place for seven years.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tom; sons, Tom (Tina) of Cuyahoga Falls, Bob (Wendy) of Stow, Dan (Amie) of Seneca Falls, N.Y., and Dave (Jessica) of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Anthony, Maria, Christina, Kimberly, Robert, Brandon, Rhen, Alexander, and Samantha; and dear friends, Linda and Alice.

Funeral services Monday, 10 a.m., at McGowan-Reid & Santos Funeral Home, at Third Street, one block north of Portage Trail, with Pastor Jerry Harpool officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m., and one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 1900 W. Market St., Akron 44313-6927.
