DEAN, MICHAEL ROY, 70, died Thursday, December 19th, 2013 in Jackson.

Funeral services for Michael Roy Dean, 70, husband, brother, father, friend and artist, of Brandon and formerly of Leland will be at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, December 22, 2013 at St. John's Episcopal Church, Leland. He died Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Jackson. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Cemetery, North Carrollton, MS under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.

Dino, the son of Edwin and Maria Dean of Norfolk, VA lived the majority of his life in and around the Mississippi Delta, where he worked as a farmer and artist before retiring to Brandon with his wife.

Dino is survived by his family and friends, who all mourn him deeply; his wife, Janice Neill Dean, daughter, Colquitt Dean Nolting, four sons, Brittan, Morgan, Nathan and Andrew Dean; two brothers, Victor and Patrick Dean and twelve grandchildren.
