Emily Deane Winfield Beeker

BEEKER, EMILY WINFIELD, Emily Deane Winfield Beeker, 56, of 5 Hillside Court, Cowarts, died Thursday, May 13, 1999 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, May 16, 1999 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Glenn and Rev. Ernest O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Byrd Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Beeker was born in Birmingham, Alabama and lived the early years of her life there. She resided in Louisville, Alabama prior to moving to the Dothan area in 1987. Mrs. Beeker was a dedicated homemaker and was a member of the National Organ Donor Assoication. Mrs. Beeker is survived by her husband, James R. Beeker of Cowarts; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Donna and Ronald Smith, Cowarts, Bobbi W. Beekers, also of Cowarts and Karen and John Christopher Williams of Dothan; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Michelle Beeker of Cottonwood; four grandchildren, Brandon Beeker, Cowarts, Alex Beeker, Austin Beeker and Cheyenne Beeker, all of Cottonwood; one brother ans sister-in-law, Johnny and Linda Winfield of Orange City, Florida. Serving as active pallbearers will be Ron Smith, James Beeker, II, John Christopher Williams, Steven Jackson, Stacy Messer, and Bodie McAdams.
