Lions Mash Memorial
     Glenridge topped Memorial in an Orange County Junior High basketball game by a score of 36-27.
     Rusty Doolittle lead the Lions with 14 points, ten of them coming in the final half.
     The Lions were behind 11-4 after the first period but rallied to make it 16-15 in favor of Memorial at the half. In the following quarters Glenridge took command of the game.
     The Jayvees triumphed over Memorial by a score of 34-19.
Bob Mobley was high scorer with 8. Gary Houmes was elected captain for the remaining games of the season.
Lions Tame Rebels 33-25
     The Glenridge Lions topped Robert E. Lee in a basketball game played in the Edgewater gym on February 11.
     The Lions opened the game with 16 points in the first period and kept the lead in the remainder of the game.
     Richard Giannini and Dewey Ramsby each scored a total of 8 points.
     The Jayvees were victorious with a tight margin: 20-18. The game was a thriller but marked by fouls. Gary Houmes scored 7.
