HI Y
 The
Tri Hi Y is a Christian organization for girls. It's purpose is
to serve the school and the community. It is sponsored in schools
everywhere under the guidance of the Y.M.C.A.
This year's projects of the ninth
grade Tri Hi Y include making Christmas decorations for the Winter
Park Memorial Hospital; working with the Hi Y to supply food and
clothing for a needy family; changing the linen in the girl and
boy clinics; sponsoring a bake sale; giving a dance; and working
with the Hi Y in a beautification program for the school.
Miss Patricia Adams has acted as sponsor
for the ninth grade Tri Hi Y. The officers of the ninth grade group
are: Sandy Flowers-President; Fran Ussery=Vice President; Karen
Rothrock-Secretary; Mona Barnhart-Treasurer; Sargeant at Arms-Bonnie
Boone.
The officers elected for next year's
ninth grade Tri Hi Y are: Carol Uhl-President; Judy Wingate-Vice
President; Betsy Cragg-Secretary; and Ellen Igou-Treasurer.

The main project of the Ninth Grade Science Club has been the making
and launching of a rocket. The President is Barbara Ferguson; Vice
President-Glen Mason; Secretary-George Mayo; Treasurer-Peter Wilson.
