Well here we are, another Easter season gone, more Easter clothes to add to our Sunday wardrobe.
Several of our more stylish teachers were seen in Winter Park's own Easter Parade.
Mr. Bender and Mr. Rehmund were seen strolling in the park in their pink and yellow Bermuda shorts. Since they both chose the same style Bermudas, they had to buy different colored shirts so as not to be dressed alike. Mr. Bender wears a flashy purple and black print while Mr. Rehmund wears a chartreuse and scarlet stripe.
Mrs. Eloquin is glimpsed gazing into the fountain of the part in park in her Easter bonnet. The chapeau was decorated with black eyed susans and orange tree leaves.
Mrs. Tausher's Easter bunny earrings were the talk of the town. Whispers have it that they were true to life size and actually wriggled their ears.
Mr. Grove, who waited all year for this Easter, was especially proud of this years outfit. His Mickey Mouse ears and T-Shirt with his name on it make him the darling of Park Avenue.
Our language teacher decided to go all in for the native dress, but they surprised all by appearing in different types of clothing. Mrs. Jung appeared very Caeserish in her fuchsia colored toga with green sandals. Mrs. Curlin thrilled the gang by donning the native dress of the Mexicans, and wearing stripped and checked folds. (13 in all!).
Many sighs were heard when Mr. Smith passed by O'Briens in his brand new knickers. Needless to say, everyone was thrilled. The snickers were touched off by a very sporting white towel hanging out of the back pocket and Elvis tennis shoes. Our hero must have been planning a game of tennis.
To celebrate Easter, Miss Wharton got herself a new hair do. How nice your new pixy hair cut looks.
For her Easter outfit, Mrs. Hurt chose an Alice Blue gown which was full length. It had puffed sleeves and a tiny accent of lace around the collar. The charming gown took us back to the days of our grandmothers.
Mrs. Klienknight and Mrs. Ramsdell could be seen riding through town in their surrey with the fringe on the top. They too wanted to go back to the Gold Old Days. They were dressed in frocks becoming to the early 19th century maid.
