ON WAR

The ones most afflicted by this wickedness of man
Are the babes unborn in this new desert land.
God gave man the gift to try and understand
If we would use our gift 'twould be the betterment of man.

I am not resigned to this weakness of the heart,
We have no right to take what God can alone impart.
The evil of this act makes my spirit smart,
No, I'm not resigned to this weakness of the heart.

NATURE'S BEAUTY

Nature has beauty we can see.
Beauty is in the song of the lark,
Beauty is the darkness of night
Surrounding us like a black velvet cape.
Beauty is the midnight blue sky
With bright, twinkling stars shining like dewdrops.
Beauty is the warm, balmy winds scented with summer fragrances.
Beauty is the rhythm of the foamy tides,
But most of all; Beauty is God,
And that's the Beauty of nature.
