Letters
From Mindy
Kids.
I
heard through the grapevine that some people
had a little discussion over who I am and why
I don't put my real name at the end of my column.
I don't because this is supposed to be an anonymous
article and the student body will find out who
I am in the last edition of the paper this year.
It
seems that for the name of the paper the 7th
grade was mainly for the Glenridge Kilt, and
the 8th grade was mainly for the Ticker Tape.
There being a majority of 7th graders, The Kilt
won.
Have
ya'll noticed Coach Mosher's haircut? How could
you miss it? Wow! It looks like he fell asleep
in the barber's chair and the barber didn't
know when to stop. Other than that, it's very
cute.
I
hope that you are happy with your grades. Remember
that that was only the first 6 weeks and that
we have 6 more.

The
Poster Contest
Mrs.
Craig of the Art Department started the pupils
of Glenridge on a made rampage of making posters
for the magazine drive. For the best poster
done she will offer a prize. As of now no one
has been able to find out what the prize will
be. |

Tri-Hi-Y
at Glenridge
The
8th grade Jr. Tri-Hi-Y is expecting to have
a busy year. They are planning to go to Camp
WeWa Sat. November 19, to spend the whole day.
During the day they will make dried leaf arrangements.
They
are in charge of the devotions at our assemblies
and are planning other services for the school.
So
many applications were turned in that Gee Gee
Wattles, the President and Mrs. Sory, the sponsor,
thought it would be best to have two 8th grade
Jr. Tri-Hi-Y's. Their plans are to meet on the
first and third Tuesday of each month. The first
meeting they will meet separately and the third
together at a church.
Miss
Lyle is organizing a 7th grade Tri-Hi-Y. All
7th grade girls interested in becoming members
see Miss Lyle for applications. |

News
Mrs.
Harland's homeroom, 7-3, had a Halloween party
last Monday morning. Carol McConnell and Karen
Rothrock were in charge of the decorations and
food. They had collected $3.81 for the party
from their classmates. Mrs. Harland brought
a bowl of punch. The class had cupcakes, punch,
party poppers, hats, and chewing gum.
