NEW BAND UNIFORMS

It will be about the middle of April before you see our Glenridge Band in uniform.

Our band has been slightly enlarged with the addition of about 16 members from the beginning band.

The Glenridge and Winter Park High School bands had a tag day on Saturday, March 3. The purpose was to raise money for our bands.

Hope to see you all at the concert!

"NOTES" FROM THE BAND

Saturday, March 3, was Tag Day for Glenridge and Winter Park bands. There were thirty-six boys and girls from Glenridge and a number from the Winter Park band.

Their headquarters was at the Florida Bank and Trust Company's board meeting room.

The idea was for the people to contribute and in turn get a tag with the words "Winter Park High School Band" printed on it.

Forty percent of the money donated to the bands went to Glenridge, and around forty-seven or fifty percent went to the Winter Park band. The money will be used for new uniforms and instruments.

One of the lucky ones from Glenridge, Wilbert Van Horn, collected $233.

Tag Day was a great success.
