STUDENT COUNCIL PLANS DANCE

The Student Council is planning a dance to be held soon after Easter. Final plans are still incomplete. If you're interested, tell your homeroom student council representative. He wants to know if you prefer having the dance in the afternoon or at night and if you like records or want a band.

Your Student Council representative represents you. Let them know what you want.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS!

The Junior Tri-Hi-Y is planning a "Good Manners Week".

Students are to be on their best behavior. Tags will be mimeographed for each person with his name on them. Each person will wear his tag for one week. The club members will be detectives for this event and will watch for students who are acting unmannerly.

If a student is being unmannerly, and is seen by a club member, his tag will be taken away. If a club members is seen being discourteous, her tag will also be taken away.

At the end of this week there will be a "big surprise". Let's all try to be on our best behavior!

OFF TO TUPPERWARE

In February Mrs. Beasley took her homemaking classes to the Tupperware headquarters located 14 miles south of Orlando on Highway 50.

The students were very much impressed by the modern plant. As you approach the entrance, there is a dramatic mural of the evolution of dishes on the wall facing the door. It shows the progress of dishes from the Stone Age to modern Tupperware.

The guide took the girls through the president's office which overlooks the Garden of the Palms. They were taken to a museum displaying old dishes, some over 100 years old.

Then the girls visited a model home where they observed the different uses of Tupperware. Each girl was presented with a small gift as a souvenir.
