Sharon
MacDonald has taken first place in a statewide art contest sponsored
by the AAUW, American Association of University Women. In spite
of the stiff competition, Sharon's project took top honors over
the others in the exhibit.
Her entry in the Red Cross competition
won the top award, and it may be selected as one of the few to be
exhibited around the world.
Sharon will attend Summer Art Camp (FSU) on a
Rollins 2-week scholarship.

Underclassmen
|
Underclassmen
day means many things to our Sophomore and Juniors. The little
Sophomore become Big Juniors and the Juniors become SAINTED
SENIORS. Many underclassmen will be receiving awards, and
the thrill of going up on the stage to receive them will long
be remembered. Among awards ito be presented are Rotary Merit
Award, which goes to a Junior and Sophomore boy, Band award,
Student Council award, letter awards in all sports, W-Club
award, and Student Council awards in various fields.
Another event which will be
long remembered is SENIOR CLASS DAY on June 2. This day marks
a final farewell to our Class of '61 before their graduation. |
