Pam Flanders
Dear Pam:

I have a friend who comes to my house right after school and stays until after we eat dinner. He hangs around so much, I don't have time to do anything with my friends. How can I shed him without hurting his feelings?

HOG-TIED

Dear Hog-Tied:

This possessive character is headed for embarrassment. You can not protect him indefinitely.

Good friends are considerate. This person is due a lesson.

At dinner time say, "We're going to have dinner now. See you tomorrow." Shen you have a date with another friend, be quite honest about it.

Dear Pam:

I am 14 years old and my mother won't let me shave my legs. I feel silly walking around with fuzz, when all the other girls shave their legs.

FUZZY

Dear Fuzzy:

I feel Mama is being a little old fashioned. She may be of the generation that thought shaving increased the growth of hair. This is definately not true, otherwise, every bald man on the block would be shaving his shiny pate and praying.

If you really need to shave your legs, try to convince your mother that this is part of good grooming, like using a deodorant.

Dear Pam:

I like a boy who goes to high school, but he can't see me for dust. What can I do to attract his attention?

WANT HELP

Dear Want Help:

You may need help if you don't stick to your own age group. Anything you do to attract is attention may earn you a bad reputation, too.

WHO'S THIS TEACHER?

The reason no one gets excited about our mystery techer flirting with a very attractive teacher is because the whole affair is legal. Have you guessed yet? Sometimes you'll see them with a little, brown-haired elf between them. She happens to be theirs.

If you haven't guessed who this teacher is you're not smart enough to be in Glenridge! HIS NAME IS ON PAGE 4.
