THE KILT
March 18, 1958
GUESS WHICH EIGHTH GRADE BOY IS MAKING $3,000 this summer plucking the base viol. Reason: He believed in planning ahead. Nice going, Jim.
ONE EIGHTH GRADE SECTION HAD MANY more girls than boys interested in playing intramural's. What's with the "stronger" sex? No muscles?
SOME PEOPLE ARE CALLING CLARKE Lambert "Little Mister Muffet" because of the spider he was carrying around. It was possible to know where Clark was at all times. Just listen for the girls to scream - and there would be Mister Muffet.
WE THOUGHT MRS. HOBBS AND HER NEW Mister were very smart about eluding the eager students who wanted to pelt them with rice. They escaped by boat!
IT HAS BEEN NOTICED THAT MANY NINTH grade girls go into Phys. Ed. wearing one outfit and come out in a completely different costume. It's known as the Sixth period Swap.
THE FOURTH PERIOD BLACK MARKET could be quickly stopped if teachers would frisk all bulky students as they enter. If they crunch they are smuggling in food.
WHAT WAS RONNIE PEACOCK LOOKING AT WHILE running the low hurdles. Seems he didn't see the hurdle. Result: new profile!
THE GIRLS DON'T HAVE THE CORNER ON THE baby-sitting market. As T.D. He was seen riding herd on a bunch of kiddies.
Mrs. Sory's History classes have elected officers. The 3rd period class elected for president: Bob Mikesell, Secretary: Pam Febrow, and critic: Judy Wingate.
The fifth period class chose Edward Wilhoit for president; Brenda Smith for Secretary; and Mic ky Goldman for critic.

The Senior Class of the O.A.F.B. had a rousing party February 21. Each person brought a dividend for the tummy.
Those seen dancing and play games were: Shirley Baldwin, Carol Skelton, Vickie Forbes, Linda Merhill, Jim Dvorin, and Randy Mohn.

Judy Garren gave a slumber (?) party February 28. Enjoying the pillow fights and sneaking telephone calls were: Paula Banzhaf, Pam Fetrow, Pat Griffith, Martha Baker, Patty Ellis, Barbara Rodgers, Claudia Musselwhite, Bennett Rowan, Bonnie Yates, Susan Graves, Susan Goetzen, Valerie Herbine, and Shirley Baldwin.
Freddy Good's whing-ding February 28 could be heard for miles around. Crazy records, cokes out of a garbage can, and an exhibition by Mr. and Mrs. Good enchanted Judy Teague, Pud Mudd, Judy Reding, Julius Mullins, Tom Massebeau, Richard Giannini, Sigrid Bergstrom, Bill Boyles, Linda Tindall, Steve Cooke, Pauls Nagel, Dewey Ramsby, Sandy Cash, Sandy Flowers, Jerry Saunders, Ann Jenkins, Jim Henry, Fran Ussery, Lynn Ricks, Rusty Doolittle, Phyllis Bichard, Al Fesus, Cindy Flowers, Susie Cushing, Marny Van Nymegan, Jackie Cook, Suzie Miller, Julie Haynie, Chuck Butler, Jeannie Jones, Chan Muller, and Gene Mooney.
A barbeque was the feature at Diane DiPaolo's birthday party March 8. Those who ate the fabulous stuff were Don Chambers, Donna Vater, Mike Kledsik, Karen Hall, John Davis, Martha Brygger, Barry Showalter, Ethel Aydelotte, Jim Darden, Linda Anglin, Cary Markham, Pat Clarke, Gary Pitts, Kent Reynolds, Pattie Biallas, Gary Chambers, Carol Cubbedge, and Howard Sullivan.
Linda Anglin's party for Ethel Aydelotte on March 1 included Donna Vater, Donnie Chambers, Diane DiPaolo, Gary Chambers, Patti Biallas, Barry Showalter, Terri Pignone, and Bob Peoples.
