COLLECTION FEVER

What makes people develop the collecting habit? The desire to have and to hold? The pack rat instinct? Whatever it is, a lot of people here at Glenridge have it bad.

Here are a few of our Glenridge collectors. JIM THOMPSON collects souvenirs, and scrapbook materials. LINDA PREVATT hangs on to anything she can put in her scrapbook. MIKE STEARMAN clings to stamps. PAT DONEGAN isn't fussy and collects anything she can put her hands on. SHARON MACDONALD is the girl who collects water. DEWEY RAMSBY is partial to horse models. LINDA SCHMIDT keeps peanuts. MR. STOCKARD collects orchids and silver dollars. MRS. STOCKARD likes coins. MR. ROYAL has a passion for non-explosive cigars. MR. ALLABOUGH is fond of fossils. MRS. CRAIG says she has clipped piles of art materials in the past, but this year is obsessed with collecting the money of the land so she can furnish the log cabin she bought last summer in Maine. THE 9TH GRADERS as a whole claim to be avid collectors of the opposite sex.

FAD AND FASHIONS

You've got to ha' a wee bit o' Scotch in you these days or you're not in fashion Ruth Jane Williams, Judy Wellinger, Mary Ellen Threlkeld and Sally Maynard - "The Four Plaiders", are all flinging around in new plaid skirts. Lois Rayl has a cute plaid jacket.

Mike Mosher, Butch Carden, Danny Carr and Bob Cozad are sporting white bucks. They say they're a mess to keep clean. Steve King and Bobby Harrison have blue suede shoes - ala guess who?

The sport shirts are getting better looking all the time. D. Griffin, C. Rosenfelt and D. Wiser all have orange "cat" shirts.
