GIRLS' PHYS ED NEWS

Sharon MacDonald     The volleyball tournament is drawing to a close. The teams leading are Winner - GLENRIDGE ATHLETICS, 18. Runner up - HOUND DOGS with 16. SKAT KATS with 12, CANNON BALLS made 9. ELVIS PRESLEY and CUBS made 11. BLUE SUEDE SHOES and HIGHLANDERS each made 6.

     During sixth period Mrs. Streifer's class and Miss Folsom's class each won 9.

BOYS' PHYS. ED. NEWS

     Class football tournaments have started. The fourth period game, between Hungerford and the Red Bellies, was a good one. Hungerford won, 18-12.

     For the sixth period championship the Vikings and the Vultures fought it out. Toward the end of the game, the Vikings pulled up from behind to score 6 points, making the score 12-6. They kicked off to the Vultures. Bill Cornell dropped the ball behind his own goal, picked it up and ran for a TD, making the score a 12-12 tie.

GLENRIDGE FATHERS' CLUB WILL MEET

     The next meeting of the Glenridge Fathers' Club will be the evening of Wednesday, Nov. , at 7:30 P.M. in the Cafetorium.

     If your father hasn't already joined this group of Dandy Dads, urge him to do so at once. He will enjoy it, and you will benefit.
