Dear Friends,
Although I moved away in 1958, I have always felt that you were "my class". My years at Glenridge were truly my best school years. Didn't we have fun?
After high school & College in Arizona (ASU), I married an Army officer and lived all over the world. We had 2 daughters and some wonderful years before a divorce.
Later I married a guy with 3 boys. We raised 5 kids and have 9 grandchildren. Life is a series of kids' birthday parties! They all live close by, and we do lots of activities together. Vacation at the beach. The men take fishing trips. The ladies like limo shopping!
By profession, I am a Realtor. But my passion is new construction. I also develop property and build homes.
Since finding old classmates on the web, I have had lunch with Lona Halloway and e-mailed several. However, right after I e-mailed everyone, I changed my mail service. So if you tried to "talk" to me, and I did not reply, it was an error.
I promise to answer all mail. I am SOOOO excited to know about you all!

Good Evening Anne,
Strange how with the passage of time you cherish looking at the past and in a way it seems as though you forget all of the years that has passed since Mr Creech was giving me the devil for something. I will do a bio, and have a digital this weekend so you can see the 'Time alterations" I have gone through. Keep up the great work. Charlie

A bit of interest . . . I was on my way back from a meeting in Texas and was sitting next to a woman in her 70's who was taking her grand-daughter to Disney. She was wearing a shirt with the American flag on it. We struck up a conversation and we got on the subject of 9/11. Her comment was, "I may be old but if one of them tried something while I am on board they will have this flag in their face". The feeling, I would say, all of the people I talk to on the trips are of the same sentiment, "Try it and the entire group of passengers will take you out".
    Charlie

Charlie and his wife Betty have two children and one grandchild. His favorite WPHS teacher was Mr. Creech because "he passed me". Chuck's hobbies are boating and riding his Harley. He asked us "Does sex count?" for his answer to Your favorite sports. His pet he lists as a "spoiled cat" but he has plans to get another Boston Terrior in the future. Favorite vacation spots are anwhere there is water. Left on his bucket list is to see the last Apollo shot. Charlie wrote that "graduation - seriously it was time when many of us knew it would probably be the last time we would see friends" is what he wrote for his favorite WPHS memory.

Update on my life in the last 10 years. Everything normal...we built a new home on the water just minutes from being in the Gulf of Mexico. This is wonderful as my husband, Richard, loves to fish and play golf. He is a retired dentist as of five years ago and we are best friends so his retirement has been wonderful.
Six years ago this June I went into the hospital for a simple procedure to snip adhesions that were causing terrible pain when the bowel got twisted (for lack of better word). This had been going on for three years and nothing showed up until I went to the emergency room during one of these attacks...thus finding adhesions. During surgery my bowel was nicked but not detected. I became septic and went into what is called ARDS (adult respiratory distress syndrone). I was in a coma for 3 months, 2 more weeks in hospital and in a nursing home for 6 weeks. It was slow going for a long time as I had to learn to walk, talk (didn't take long!) dress myself, etc.
