Introducing...John Thorton Cash, Jr.
     A member of the 1961 graduating class from Winter Park High School, John is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Cash, Sr., 160 Virginia Drive. High school activities for John include football (all Orange Belt Conference), baseball, Varsity Club president, Hi-Y secretary. A "B" Honor Roll student, he will enter the University of Florida. John looks forward to a career in the field of building and construction. His hobby is sports.
Cash, John T., Jr. . . . Johnny comes from Roanoke, VA. This brown-hair, brown-eyed 5'10" senior has been active in school functions. His favorite sports are football and baseball. His hobbies are sports and girls. His pet peeve is losing football games. John's philosophy of life is to live and let live. His ideal situation is after winning a football game, to be home alone with a likeable girl and plenty of food and beverage!!! Future includes college at Florida State or Georgia Tech.

Bio
: University of Florida until 1965. Insurance sales to present. Married homecoming queen at Florida State-quite an achievement for a Gator - three wonderful kids. National trustee for Fellowship of Christian Athletics. In ten years I'll be right here in Winter Park.
Future plans and goals: Work hard. Get out of debt.

Johnny has three children and eight grandchildren. His hobbies are golf, fishing and UF sports. His favorite sports are golf and football. He has a Jack Russell named Boo. John lists his favorite vacation spot as the North Carolina mountains. He mentions that "...throwing water balloons three nights in a row with Richard and Jackie..." was great fun although he doesn't mention who or where they threw those water balloons. John received an honor he wanted to tell us about - the National Award w/Fellowship of Christian Athletes award. His most favorite WPHS memory was the entire senior year of WPHS football games - "...we lost all games...".

Introducing...Sandra Cash
     Sandy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kelsey D. Cash, 670 Williams Drive. She will graduate with the class of 1961 from Winter Park High School.. Vice president of the Student Council and secretary of her homeroom, Sandy was also Homecoming Queen, a cheerleader, and a member of Latin Club and Tri-Hi-Y. This fall will find Sandy at Queens College, Charlotte, N.C., where she will major in Business Administration.
Cash, Sandra . . . "Credit", who has blue eyes, brown hair, and stands 5'2", considers herself FAT. Sandy's hobby is knitting and she enjoys all sports although basketball is her favorite. Her ideal situation is to have Winter Park High School win all their football games. Sandy likes pizza and Dr. Pepper. She doesn't like people who will let you tell a joke and then when it's over to have them say that they've already heard it. Bill is the one who she wants to have on a tropical isle. Future plans of our homecoming queen this year include college and marriage. Why is October 21st, 1960, her most memorable event at WPHS?

Sandra has one daughter. Sandra's favorite WPHS teacher was Dr. Bender because she thought he was very smart. Her hobbies are golf, cooking, reading and exercise. Her favorite sport is golf. She does list her daughter's Chihuahua as her pet. Sandra told us her favorite vacation spot is golf resorts on the ocean. Left on her bucket list is "grandchildren". Her favorite WPHS memory involves the football field, basketball games and dances in the gym.

Barbara Jean Cayll (McKenna)

Cayll, Barbara Jean . . . "Bubbles" choice to be ship wrecked with is Rod Lauren and he'd better know how to cook spaghetti and pizza because that's what she enjoys eating. Barbara is a native of Orlando so naturally she enjoys skiing and swimming, as well as softball. Her favorite hobby is drawing. She plans to attend college at OJC or Sarasota Ringling School at Art. Barb's secret ambition is to take a trip to Parris Island and rescue a certain boy. Where are you, Wayne?

Introducing...Charles Floyd Cayll
     Clarlie is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cayll, 3306 Pelham Road. He is a member of the graduating class of 1961 from Winter Park High School. Vice-president of his home room and a member of the Varsity Club, Charlie was also a prominent member of the football, basketball and track teams. His hobbies are skiing and horseback riding. Orlando Junior College will welcome Charlie to its campus in the fall.
Cayll, Charlie Floyd . . . "Pasco" . . . born in Orlando, has brown eyes, black hair and stands 6' tall. He likes football, basketball and track . . . hobbies are horseback riding and skiing . . . pet peeves are his little brother and talkative girls . . . likes steak and cokes . . . most memorable event at WPHS was the first football game this year . . . after high school Charlie plans to attend OJC and then transfer to a four-year college.

Charlie traveled 100 miles to get to the 50th class reunion. He has two sons. He lists his hobbies as golf and fishing. His favorite sport is football. Charlie told us he has a dog and a cat. His favorite vacation spots are North Carolina and Tennessee. Left on his bucket list is a trip to Italy to visit the city of his grand parents. Charlie told us his favorite WPHS memory was enjoying all his time at WPHS, and all the friends made while attending school.

Introducing...Susan Chace
     Susan is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Chace, Maitland and a member of the 1961 graduating class from Winter Park High School. Secretary General of Student Council, Treasurer of National Forensic League, cheerleader, member of Honor Society, Christmas Court and W Club, are all listed among her high school activities. Swimming and tennis are her hobbies. Susan has chosen Emory University to begin her studies as a Dental Hygienist.
Chace, Susan . . . Savannah, GA, was blessed with "Chaceman" August, 1943. This brown-hair, green-eyed senior miss favors tennis to all other sports. Her pet peeve is people who spell her name "Chase". Philosophy of life is "you can't please 'em all". Favorite expression is "DAG-NAB-IT". Ideal situation is to eat all the candy bars and potato chips she wanted and know she would never get fat. Future includes dental work and marriage.

Challis, Herbert Nelson, Jr. . . . "Shades" was born in Detroit, MI. His ideal situation is to have three wives, three hot rods, and three million dollars. Herb's favorite food is a hamburger with french fries. His hobbies are girls, cars, electronics, music, money, and drag racing. His favorite sports are bowling and water sports. "Shades" can usually be found hanging around a 1953 Pontiac which is his pet peeve. The person he would like to be ship wrecked with is Christopher Columbus. Herb's philosophy of life is to love her, be good to her, and she'll leave you . . . future plans include technical school.
