Scott Nidy
A member of the graduating
class of 1961, Lynn was a member of the Back Stage Technicians
at Winter Park High, working on sets for Oklahoma and
You Can't Take It With You. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
R. K. Nidy, 198 Phelps Avenue. He will attend Orlando
Junior College this fall. Sports cars, fishing and hunting
are his hobbies. |

Lynn . . . If you are a snob or an imature girl, you won't
stand a ghost of a chance with this individual. But, if
you are a hamburger, a milkshake, a sports car, or a pigskin,
you've got it made. Lynn's ambition is to teach girls
physical education class . . "DAD GUM!!!!" is

and will graduate with the class of 1961 from Winter Park
High School. He plans to enter technical school where
he will study electronics. Don's hobbies include drag
racing, cars, swimming and music. |

I LIKE THE WINTER PARK GIRLS!" Don's other interests
are cars, bowling, electronics, drag racing, cheeseburgers,
beer, and reading Playboy magazines. His ideal situation
is to have a 1961 Pontiac convertible and a good looking
girl by his side. Future plans are to go to work so tht
he can fulfill his ambitions ---

Lorraine Osborn
Kay is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. L. Earl Osborn, 1865 Barker Drive. She is still
undecided about which course of study she will follow
at University of South Florida this fall. Kay was Chaplain
of Tri-Hi-Y, Homeroom officer and member ofPan-American
Club and Torch Society. She will graduate from Winter
Park High School with the class of 1961. |

Kay Lorraine . . . was born May 8 in Orlando, Florida.
Prior to attending WPHS, Kay attended Edgewater High School.
Her hobby is collecting salt and pepper shakers. Her pet
peeve is people who try to run everything. Kay's secret
ambition is to be liked by everyone. Her future includes
college.

Sue O'Steen
Editor of the Towayam for
1961 Brenda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe O'Steen,
500 Stanley St. At Winter Park High School she has been
a member of Honor Society, Pep Club and Tri-Hi-Y. Her
hobbies are swimming and skiing. Following her graduation
with the class of 1961, Brendahopes to begin a career
in the business world. |

Steven Edward . . ."Fig" . . . born in Bedford,
England . . . obviously Coach Orr has made quite an impression
on this young man as Ed listed his secret ambition as
being present while Coach Orr fights a bull in the grand
arena in Mexico City. Ed's most memorable event at Winter
Park was Coach Orr's biology class. Skiing, football and
basketball are his favorite sports. College is in the
future for this Senior personality. Additional Comment:
"I hate English!!"

He is a member of the swimming team, Letterman's Club,
Hi-Y and Homeroom treasurer. Butch will study architecture
at Georgia Tech. His hobbies are swimming and skiing. |

graduation from Winter Park High. A member of the cross
country track team and Hi-Y, Allan was also a regular
track team member. His hobbies are skiing, swimming and
skin diving. |

or Florida and then into the service for a few years.

Henry W., III . . . nick name "Hank" . . . was
born in Louisville, LA in 1943. Favorite sports include
vollyball, water skiing, fishing and boating while his
pet peeve is that he can't get up enough nerve to ask
a girl for a date. Hank likes butternut flavored ice cream
and tea. His most memorable event at WPHS was his course
in Biology with Mr. Orr. Hank plans to attend the University
of Florida after high school graduation.
