June Cubbedge
The daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. C. H. Cubbedge, Carole will graduate with the class
of 1961 from Winter Park High School. She will enter Florida
State University where she plans to major in psychology.

Student Council, and Campus Crusaders. She enjoys water

|
Cubbedge,
Carol June . . . "Cabbage", another Floridian,
believes in having a continual blast. That's her philosophy
of life. She doesn't say what her secret ambition is.
She only says it "remains a secret." What do
you suppose it is? According to her, it's "nuttin'
serious!!" Let's hope so because she'll have plenty
of time to be serious later when she goes to FSU with
all those sassy Seminoles!!!.

Introducing...Sharon
Ann Cummings
Sharon is the daughter of
Mr. She is a member of the 1961 graduating class at Winter
Park High School. Sharon has been a member of GAA, Tri-Hi-Y
and Glee Club during her three years at Winter Park High.
Following graduation she will work in one of the many
offices in town. |
|
Cummings,
Sharon . . . Sharon goes by the affectionate name of "Annie".
This is probably a name acquired by some of her southern
friends because native New Yorkers, and she is one, don't
usually come forth with such endearing names. "Annie,"
your secret amibiton, "to get married secretly,"
(Ha!Ha!) sounds great . . . ideal situation is to have
pizza, Ronald and a lighted fireplace. "Really"
and "My goodness" are her favorite expressions.
Future includes business school and marriage to Ronald
Barger. Farewell, School!!!!!

Cummings,
Sheila Mae . . . "Readers Beware!!!" Look behind
you and see if Sheila is standing near with her hands
behind her. You'd never know the little New York gal has
any vicious blood in her. She wants to throw a lemon pie
at somebody's face. Take heed, you may find this suspicious
character in a recreation park or at Webber College, FL.
She's little, cute, and sweet, but as already mentioned,
has a certain yearning. Favorite expressions are "heaven
forbid" and "golly". Best liked sports
are archery and bowling. Her hobby is making clothes.

Comments: Have moved 17 times in my 38 years of marriage
but have settled in Deland. Parents still live in Winter
Park but will be looking for a house in Deland soon. My
twin sister (Sharon) lives in Ormond Beach and is engaged
to be married. |
Date Posted: September 24, 2009
Comments: My husband died 3 years ago of non-hodgkins
lymphoma. I am still living in the same place. I decided
to perk up my life so I went sky diving. What an experience
that is! I just loved it. I have one daughter. She is
Director of Pharmacy at one of our hospitals and is a
Ballroom Dance Instructor. She has been engaged for 10
years. Guess there is no rush. For the past 12 years I
have worked at a dialysis laboratory. I bowl once a week
so between work and play I stay busy. 50th reunion sounds
so old - guess I don't want to admit it. Went out and
bought myself a Saturn Sky Roadster - 2 seater. Made me
feel a whole lot better - HA HA |

My bio

From: "Bob Danforth"
It was good to hear from
you and Bill and Mary. I have often wondered about old
classmates like Bob Cross, Jack Billingham, Dewey Ramsby
and it is good to find out about them. I am looking forward
to Bob's BBQ. I have enjoyed looking at the web site and
it brings back a lot of memories. Great job!! Here is
a short bio.
1961 - 64 --- U.S. Army
1964 - 80 --- Orlando Area
1980 - 82 --- Raleigh, NC
1982 - 99 --- Atlanta, GA
1999 - present --- New Smryna Beach, FL
Retired in 1999 from Avnet
Corporation (Computer division) after 32 years (salesman,
Branch Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager).
Married to Barbara in 1972
(30 years!!). She taught school at Azalea Park in Orlando
for 12 years and then worked in the payroll department
of Olsten Temporary Services in Raleigh and Atlanta for
18 years. Her hobbies are fishing and stained glass.
One son, Robert, from a
previous marriage, age 35, lives in Augusta, GA.
After retirement, returned
to New Smyrna Beach to live in the house my father built
in 1970 as a weekend getaway (6 docks down from JB's Fish
